L’esprit d’escalier - (French) The feeling you get after leaving a conversation, when you think of all the things you should have said. Translated it means “the spirit of the staircase.
So here we go.. my diary of all the what ifs, and all the things I should have said.. All the things I wish I said..All the things I am going to say..And when you find this I hope you know its about you.

I feel like the longer I stay here the more I die a little bit inside more and more
I hate always wishing I was someone where else. Even if someone else is with you. I hate counting down the days till I finally see you again. Even though I know I’ll be in your arms. I don’t like the feeling of second guessing myself and thinking I am possibly putting my life on hold for someone and thinking that my life will finally start when I am with them. I am struggling to find a balance in happiness in loving you and missing you.

I truly believe that in order to really “find yourself”, you need to weave in and out of being lost, and by following this intricate, perplexing path, you will eventually achieve a balanced state of mind - a state of mind defined by your own personal blend of every experience, lesson, failure, triumph and relationship you collect throughout your day to day life.
